Research Interests
Implementation of higher-trophic-level modules in coupled physical-ecosystem models is the focus of my present research. In the past, I worked on studies on the physics of estuaries, shelf seas, and coastal areas in the Indian Ocean monsoon regimes. Along with conducting shipboard observations, I also worked on coupled OGCM-biogeochemical models to simulate physical and biogeochemical elements of the Indian Ocean. Additionally, I have over six years of experience teaching university students about physical oceanography, computer programming, and climate data analytics.
