Short Biography
Paul Eselem Bungu holds a postdoctoral research position as an analytical scientist in liquid chromatography. He received his PhD in Polymer Science in 2018, which followed a three-year postdoctoral position in polyolefin analysis at Stellenbosch University, South Africa, under the mentorship of Prof. Harald Pasch. He also holds a Masters and BSc. Hons degrees in Chemistry from the University of the Free State, South Africa. He is an expert in polymer analysis, with a research focus on method development in liquid chromatography coupled with multi-dimensional characterizations of biodegradable polymers for use in biomedical applications. His research excellence was recognized by Stellenbosch University in 2021 with the Vice-Rectors of Research exceptional achievers Post-doctorate award.
