Research Topics

Main emphasis of the department lies on different research topics.The focus is on numerical simulation of currents, salinity and temperature and distribution, height and period of wind waves as well as the forecast of these and other parameters. Also models for biogeochemical issues are under consideration.

Other focal points are data analysis and data assimilation.
