35 PhD Students from Technische Universität Hamburg (TUHH) and Helmholtz-Zentrum Geesthacht (HZG) met on Thursday, 30th November, and Friday, 1st December, to discuss and network.
The first day took place at the TUHH: There was a poster session, an interactive quiz on materials science and lab visits. On Friday they met at HZG in Geesthacht: Some students also showed their labs and explained their work. After lunch three alumni presented their work and answered questions about their life after PhD in a plenary discussion.
The poster award went to PhD Student Sihang You from “Magnesium Innovation Centre MagIC – Magnesium Processing”, HZG.
It was a great symposium – we are looking forward to the next one!
