What do we expect of you?

In addition to a good secondary school-leaving certificate (Realschule), good language and numeracy skills are important as well as a good manner in dealing with customers.

How does the apprenticeship work?

Apprenticeship in a dual system that lasts 3 years. This means that in addition to working at the company, you will spend one or two days a week at vocational college.

During your apprenticeship, your tasks will be:

to receive and check goods
to enter goods in the computer system
to store goods
to transport goods within the company
to pick goods
to pack goods
to load goods
to dispatch goods
to carry out inventories
to use work equipment

What will you learn during your apprenticeship?

As part of your training, you will learn, e. g.:

logistical processes; quality assurance measures
to receive goods and record their receipt
to check shipping documents while taking into account customs and dangerous goods regulations
to appropriately storage goods
to pick and package goods, and to record outgoing goods
to ship goods
to process complaints
to carry out inventories
